So that you feel completely at ease.

At PVZ17, you’ll find everything you need for comprehensive general practice (GP) care. Our team offers a wide range of services, from preventive check-ups and treatment of acute health problems to regular check-ups and chronic care, to ensure you receive the best possible medical care.

Services paid by health insurance and private medical services

General practitioner care and examinations

We are your first contact for both acute and chronic conditions. This includes apprehending detailed medical histories, conducting physical examinations, providing consultations and coordinating further treatment. As a GP practice, we also support you in the long term, looking beyond individual specialist areas: we keep track of diagnoses, treatments and test results, and coordinate your medical care with a holistic approach.

Blood tests

At our practice, we can take blood samples on site at any time. This allows us to obtain important laboratory results quickly and to plan and monitor your treatment effectively.

Parent-Child Health Passport Examinations

We are here to support you throughout your pregnancy as your trusted GP, providing personalised medical care, advice and a holistic approach to your health. The internal medical examination carried out during pregnancy as part of the Parent-Child Passport serves to comprehensively assess your health and identify any potential risks at an early stage.

Vaccinations

We advise you on all recommended vaccinations and administer them at our medical practice. In doing so, we respect your individual vaccination history and current vaccination guidelines. We keep most vaccines in stock.

I.V. Drips

I.V. Drips can be useful for certain conditions or symptoms, for example to replenish fluids, administer medication or treat deficiencies. These are administered in a calm environment at our medical practice.

Preventive medical check-ups

The annual health check-up is covered by your health insurance once a year and helps to detect and prevent illnesses at an early stage. We take the time to carry out a thorough examination, including an ECG, laboratory tests and a detailed consultation with a doctor. Book an appointment.

Wound management – acute & chronic

We provide proper care for acute and chronic wounds – from cuts and grazes to wounds that are slow to heal. Our aim is to ensure rapid healing with minimal scarring and to prevent complications.

Treatment of chronic conditions

We provide long-term care for chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes or cardiovascular disease. We work with you to draw up a personalised treatment plan and monitor your progress on a regular basis.

PrEP, PEP and sexual health

We offer confidential and non-discriminatory sexual health advice. This includes diagnosis, treatment and advice on protection and testing for sexually transmitted infections, the prescription of HIV PrEP, and the provision of HIV PEP in emergencies.

HIV treatment

We offer comprehensive GP care for people living with HIV – from diagnosis and the initiation of antiretroviral therapy through to long-term medical support. This includes regular check-ups, the treatment and prevention of co-morbidities, and coordinated care that takes into account our patients’ overall health and life circumstances.

Psychotherapy

Together with our team of experts, we are here to support you through emotional distress, crises and mental health conditions. Our aim is to work with you to find new ways of dealing with your problems and to improve your quality of life in the long term.

Social work

We offer support when you feel overwhelmed by difficult life situations. Working alongside experienced social workers, we can advise you on a wide range of challenges – from financial matters to interpersonal issues.

Nutritional advice / Dietetics

We can advise you on healthy eating, weight loss and specialised diets, for example for conditions such as diabetes, dyslipidaemia or food intolerances. Our recommendations are tailored to your individual lifestyle.
