Here, we’ll keep you up to date with news from our practice and the latest topics relating to health and preventative care. Feel free to drop by and stay informed.
You can schedule appointments by phone during opening hours or online through our website. Please provide a brief description of the reason for your visit so that we can allow sufficient time.
You are welcome to visit PVZ17 during opening hours without an appointment. However, we recommend booking an appointment to minimize your wait time.
We see ourselves as the first point of contact for patients with all public health insurance providers, EU citizens and private patients.
You can find our current opening hours on the homepage. The practice is closed on public holidays.
You can reach us on: +43 1 3860333
Please note that there may be waiting times on the phone during peak hours.
In life-threatening emergencies, please dial 144 immediately. Outside of our operating hours, please contact the telephone health advice service at 1450 (no prefix necessary from any network). This free hotline provides health advice over the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You can order refills of long-term medications by phone or online. When doing so, please provide your name, date of birth, social security number, and the exact name of the medication.
Your prescription will be ready for pickup by the next working day at the latest. Please bring your e-card with you. We also issue e-prescriptions.
Yes, we can issue certain medical certificates. Depending on the type of certificate, costs may arise, which are usually payable privately. Please enquire in advance.
We offer the annual preventive health check-up covered by public health insurance, as well as additional examinations by individual arrangement. You can find detailed information here.
Yes, we administer all vaccinations recommended in the Austrian immunization schedule, as well as travel vaccinations by appointment. To discuss your vaccination needs, please book a “consultation”. If a consultation is not necessary, such as for booster shots or if you are bringing your own vaccines, please book a “vaccination” appointment.
Please bring your vaccination card with you.
We have most vaccines in stock.
Blood tests can be carried out at any time. Please arrive on an empty stomach for laboratory tests, if possible. Do not eat for 8–10 hours before the test, but drinking water is permitted. For this reason, we recommend coming to the practice in the morning for a blood test.
You can collect lab results from the practice at any time during opening hours or access them online via labor.at using your ID Austria. If you had a blood test at our center, please book a consultation with a doctor. If the results pose a health risk and require urgent action, we will contact you directly.
We generally discuss results from external laboratories, X-rays, and other specialists during a medical appointment so that we can interpret the findings together from a medical perspective. We do not review these results in advance.
Of course, you are welcome to consult us about individual complaints. However, in the long term, we recommend that you have a regular GP so that your treatment can be coordinated effectively.
Yes, our practice is wheelchair accessible. There is a step-free entrance, wide doors, and plenty of space for wheelchairs and walking aids. A lift is available, as are wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities. If you need assistance, our team will be happy to help you on site.
If you cannot attend your scheduled appointment, please cancel it by phone or email at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, we reserve the right to charge a fee of EUR 30.
You’ll find us in the middle of Hernals, in the former Ingelen radio factory.
We are looking forward to seeing you!
